Why can't my listing show contact details?

Guests reach you through Spitio, not directly. So your title, description and house rules can't contain contact details. Spitio checks them every time you save.

What gets hidden

• the names WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram
• e-mail addresses
• links, such as addresses starting with http or www
• website names, such as ones ending in .com or .gr
• phone numbers of 7 or more digits

Dates are not treated as phone numbers, and your home's own ΑΜΑ number is fine.

What happens when you save

The contact details are hidden straight away:

• an e-mail address becomes x•••@•••
• a link becomes "[link hidden]"
• a phone number keeps its first 4 digits, and the rest become dots
• a messaging-app name becomes •••

You then see this message: "We hid phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links and messaging-app names from your listing. Guests write to you on Spitio, and contact details are shared once a booking is confirmed."

How guests reach you

Guests write to you in Messages. Once a booking is confirmed, contact details are shared automatically. The guest then sees your phone and e-mail in Messages, next to the exact address.
