Signing in: Google, password or link

Signing in

Go to Sign in. The page asks you to "Sign in or create an account". You can press Continue with Google, or enter your e-mail address below it.

With Google, you are signed in straight away. If your Google e-mail already has a Spitio account (including one made when you paid for a stay), you are signed in to that same account and see your trips there; there is never a second account for the same e-mail. If the e-mail is new, a guest account is made for it.

If you already have an account, you'll see "Welcome back". Then you have two choices:

• enter your password, or
• press Email me a sign-in link instead. We send you an e-mail, "Your Spitio sign-in link". The link works once, and only for a short while.

Creating an account

If your e-mail address is new to Spitio, you'll see "Welcome to Spitio". Enter your first name, last name and a password of 8 to 72 characters. This creates a guest account, and we send you an e-mail, "Confirm your Spitio account". Open it to confirm your address.

You can also create your account while paying for a stay: Create my Spitio account is ticked by default at checkout, and there is no password to choose there. After you pay, the confirmation e-mail has a Finish my account button (it works once, for 7 days): choose a password, or skip and keep signing in with e-mail links. If your e-mail already has a Spitio account, the booking is added to it. If you untick the box, no account is made: the e-mail has a private link to view your booking instead, which works until 30 days after check-out.

Passwords

• Forgotten your password? Go to Reset your password, enter your e-mail and press Send reset link. If an account exists for that address, a link to choose a new password is on its way.
• Changing your password: when signed in, go to Account → Password → Change. A password needs at least 8 characters.

If you see "Too many tries from here. Please wait a few minutes and try again.", wait a little and try again.
