Deleting your account

Download your data first

Before you delete anything, you can keep a copy of what Spitio holds about you. On Account, press Download my data. You get a file, spitio-my-data.json, with your account, profile, saved homes and bookings.

Deleting a guest account

1. Sign in and open Account.
2. Press Delete account.
3. Read the explanation and tick "I understand, delete my account."
4. Press Delete my account.

If you change your mind before the last step, press Keep my account.

What is deleted and what stays

• Deleted: your profile, photo, saved homes and sign-in. You are signed out.
• Stays: bookings you made stay with the hosts, who need them for their records. The links in your e-mails keep working.

This can't be undone.

Host accounts

Host accounts can't be deleted from the site. Host accounts are closed by e-mail: write to info@spitio.com.
