Reviewing your guests

Updated 25 September 2026 · 1 min read

After a stay, you and your guest can review each other. Your review of a guest helps other hosts when that guest asks to book with them.

Writing your review

Go to Host → Reviews. Stays waiting for your review are under To write. You have 14 days from check-out, and each stay shows how many days are left.

You can only review guests who have a Spitio account. If the guest booked without one, there is no profile to review.

Your review has:

  • an overall rating: Poor, Fair, Good guest, Very good guest or Great guest
  • ratings for Cleanliness, Communication and House rules
  • a written review, and a private note

Once you submit a review, you can't edit it.

Who sees it

Your review of a guest is never public. Other hosts see it only when that guest asks to book with them.

Reviews are published together: once you both have written one, or after 14 days. Neither side sees the other first. If the guest has already written theirs, the stay is marked "Guest wrote theirs - yours unlocks it".

Replying to your guest's review

When the guest's review of your stay is published, it appears under Latest about you. You can post one public reply to it, up to 1000 characters. Replies open once the review is published, and you can't change a reply after posting it.

Your public reply sits next to the guest's review, where future guests can read it. Keep it calm and to the point.
